Our scrumptious dinner and flowing food / finger food menus are inspired by my passion for complimentary flavours and seasonal, fresh produce.

I love discussing, creating and planning a menu with each client and believe a personal approach is essential in order to understand each client’s unique tastes and style to ensure that the catering exceeds expectations.

Arrival canapés, passed around

Parma ham, fresh fig and Danish feta phyllo quiche
Mini tuna tagliata on micro leaves and toasted pine nuts
Wild mushrooms, gorgonzola and thyme on mature cheddar crust
Harissa prawn skewers with mango and sweet chilli salsa

Starter, served at the tables:

Avocado Ritz with hot smoked Norwegean salmon, tomato and chilli compote, baby leaves and toasted pine nuts

Main course buffet:

Springbok “pot” with apricots and Gremolata in rich red wine stew
Slow-roasted pork belly with crushed walnuts, apples and Swiss chard
Beef fillet medallions with wild mushroom cream and a drizzle of truffle oil

Above served with:

New baby potatoes with dill and spring onion butter

A selection of fresh salads and accompaniments:

Cinnamon infused butternut, poached pear and Danish feta salad with toasted cashews and honey vinaigrette
Moroccan – style spiced roast vegetables on curried couscous and cumin-scented dressing
Crispy asparagus, mangetout and green bean salad with raspberries and toasted almonds, served with a fresh berry vinaigrette
Wild rocket salad with avocado, peppadews, pecorino and pumpkin seeds in sweet pepper dressing

Dessert station:

Pavlovas with lemon curd, vanilla cream, crushed ginger biscuits and fresh raspberries
Mini Amarula Crème Brulees
Chocolate and hazelnut roulade
Fig, pistachio and apricot baklava bites

I have loved cooking and baking since early childhood and often turned our home into my own imaginative little restaurant; creating menus, playing with presentation and serving my family and friends absolutely thrilled me! Filling the house with the wonderful aromas of baked goods and oh the satisfaction when turning out the perfect cake onto the plate – this remains one of my great joys in life particularly with the eager eyes and mouths of my family and friends around!
